| Prevent Child Abuse � Howard County is a volunteer-based organization of concerned citizens working with the community, state, and national groups to distribute knowledge about child abuse prevention. Program goals include: promoting community awareness and education of child abuse and neglect, coordinating prevention efforts in Howard County, developing new programs and services to prevent child abuse, and advocating public policies and legislation which enhance the quality of life for children and families.
