The Kokomo Fathom Masters Scuba diving club is a group of divers from Howard and surrounding counties that come together to preserve, support, promote and participate in the sport of scuba diving and its various forms of allied activities.
The Kokomo Fathom Masters club promotes fellowship among underwater sportsmen by organizing social and recreational programs, and opportunities to enjoy the wonders of the underwater world.
The club meets the first Sunday of each month (excluding holiday weekends) at 6:00pm at the Diving Den, about two miles east of Kokomo on State Road 22. The club's event calendar features a monthly activity; usually a trip to a regional quarry for a day of diving. Club members also make frequent trips to the "home" quarry in France Park west of Logansport.
Annual membership dues are $18, which provide for meals at various meetings through the year, prizes for scavenger hunts, pool rental for winter tune-ups, and home delivery (email or USPS) of the Dive Log, the club's monthly newsletter.
Contact Publicity Officer Jeff Steers ([email protected]) for more information, a copy of the most recent Dive Log, or a copy of the club event calendar. More information about the club and lessons is available by calling the Diving Den at (765) 452-1034.
