It was 1891 when industrialist Monroe Seiberling built his daring and dramatic Neo-Jacobean, Romanesque Revival style mansion. The Seiberling was the talk of the town and the site of beautiful weddings and grand parties. Over the last one hundred years, the Seiberling has been a residence, a university, a vandalized mansion ready for the wrecking ball, and today a beautifully restored historic site listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
