| Kokomo Area Schools at Home (KASH) is a mutual support group started in 1988 by and for those families involved in home education in the Kokomo area. We work together to broaden the opportunities of the individual homeschool through the sharing of information, experience, group activities, and social interaction within a Christian atmosphere. We believe that God has given parents the privilege and responsibility to ensure that their children receive a quality Christian education and have the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our meetings are open to anyone interested in home education. KASH holds monthly meetings and publishes a monthly newsletter during the regular school year. The Indiana Association of Home Educators (IAHE) is a statewide support group, which encourages and supplies information for KASH. David and Ann Ihms are the Regional Representatives for the IAHE for Howard, Miami, Grant, Blackford, and Jay counties. The IAHE offers a free bimonthly newsletter. |
