Old Richardville Publications, the publishing arm of the Genealogy & Local History Services Department of the Kokomo-Howard County Public Library, publishes short runs of books of genealogical and local historical interest for those with Hoosier ancestors to help those searching for their roots in north-central Indiana. Our current publications cover topics such as the evolution of Mormonism in Indiana, rustic tombstone markers, the Civil War, and Kokomo directories. Forthcoming projects include a directory to Howard County high school graduates, a new indexed edition of a rare 19th-century county plat map, and a memoir of growing up in Kokomo in the early part of the 20th century.
