| We are a growing church seeking to serve Jesus Christ through "feeding his sheep." Through various Bible Studies such as DISCIPLE, Bethel Bible Series and other topical studies, participants get to know God better through His Word. First UMC is greatly involved in community, reaching out in Jesus' name. We assist the Howard County Health Dept. twice each year as a site for Health Clinic (flu shots, blood pressure checks, etc.) and as a Red Cross site, donating blood to provide the gift of life. Fellowship Meals are held year-round on Wednesday evenings with visitors welcome to attend. There is also a monthly Men's Breakfast, a women's circle and a women's ministry group, a Prayer Team, the ALPHA outreach program, Seniors' Ministry (50+ Club that meets 4th Tuesday of each month) just to name a few! We also rent out our facilites for both community and personal activities (Girl Scouts, Bridal/Baby Showers, Graduation/Anniversary/Birthday Parties, club meetings, tutoring sessions, etc.) Call the church office during business hours for more details. Worship Times are Saturday evenings from 6:37-7:37 PM in Fellowship Hall; Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:45 in the Sanctuary. Church Office hours are 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday through Friday.
