| The Kokomo Flute Association is a not-for-profit organization designed to promote flute music and performance in Central Indiana. We sponsor The Kokomo Flute Choir and Flute Fantasia, which share two main concerts annually in addition to performances at nursing homes and community events. Selected members provide coaching for flute ensembles in area schools at contest time. Sponsorship of a summer flute camp and flute-related programs allow area flutists opportunities to improve solo and ensemble skills. A $500 annual scholarship is awarded to one high-school senior who has excelled in leadership and achievement while an active member of one of the performing ensembles.
