| Indiana Legal Services, Inc., is a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance including advice, advocacy, and representation to eligible low-income and elderly individuals in a fourteen county area including Howard County. Indiana Legal Services handles certain types of legal problems including family law, housing, utility problems, public benefits, limited consumer issues, health (including Medicaid and Medicare) and elder law. Eligibility is based on income and type of legal problem. Elderly (60+) are served without regards to income. Legal Services does not handle any criminal or traffic offense problems.
