| The Sons are a hereditary society of lineal or collateral male descendants of those who served the Union in the epic struggle, the Civil War 1861-1865. They are a civilian patriotic educational society. Their purpose is to perpetuate the memory of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) and those men who served their country to save the Union in the Civil War 1861-1865. Our monthly meetings are scheduled around Civil War topics and trips. |
