| Established in 1981, the Howard County Vietnam Veterans Organization is the largest grass roots Vietnam Veterans organizations in the country. HCVVO is involved in all Veterans issues, including hosting events at the local VA hospital. HCVVO also hosts an annual Veteran's Reunion that attracts over 30,000 people each year. Members of HCVVO meet on the Second Saturday of each month at 10:00am, and the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm at the former Howard County Airport on State Rd. 26 in Kokomo.
