| The Pi Chapter of Phi Beta Psi is a non-academic, social sorority made up of women from the Howard County area. Phi Beta Psi is very active in the community; in the 1950's Phi Beta Psi helped found the American Cancer Society of Howard County, and continues to support cancer research today. Membership is open to any woman over the age of 18 with a high school diploma who is voted in by existing members. Voting takes place in January, and the sorority meets once a month during the year.
