MOPS at Oakbrook
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. Moms need moms.  They need to know they are not alone - that there are other mothers facing challenges, loneliness, and heartfelt desire to be the best mom they can possibly be. MOPS at Oakbrook meets 2 Wednesday mornings per month from 9-11:15.  We have brunch, guest speakers, crafts, discussion groups, and time to relax and have fun while our kids are taken care of in our MOPPETS program.  Come check us out!

The Eastern Howard County Historic Home Tour, 1-6pm

The Eastern Howard County Historic Home Tour will feature five historic homes, which will be open to tour between 1 and 6 p.m.  Saturday, May 17.  Tickets will be available for $8.00 each in advance and $10 at the door.

Make it a day and check out "A Pause in History" Caf'e hosted by the Greentown Historical Society at 101 E. Main Street in Greentown from 11:00 am to 3:00pm.  Cost is $5.00

Women Overcoming Obstacles
2:30 - 4:00 pm at UAW Local 685 Hall, 929 Hoffer St., Kokomo, IN
When you are down, you are not out... Anything is possible!  You are invited to hear Brooke and Shona Moreland's story.  A story of domestic violence, homelessness and overcoming those obstacles to rebuild their lives and plan for the future.  There will be refreshments and door prizes.  A wonderful afternoon for women of all ages!!
